Found was asked to create a sixty cover restaurant within Harrods department store to complement its successful design of the fourth floor Fashion Lab. The restaurant sits well within the fashion context and the aesthetic of the Lab, yet has a distinctive allure and personality of its own.
The focal point of the space – which serves a healthy offer with a menu rich in superfoods and seasonal greens – is a rectangular white Corian lunch bar illuminated by a theatrical array of 1400 lamps arranged directly above.
Selected materials are sleek and simple in character, reflecting the atmosphere of the nearby Fashion Lab. A bespoke nine metre couch by the windows offers an alternative dining experience to the Corian bar.
